What to expect after contacting us:
Unlike many larger companies who send out hard-closing salesmen with little or no actual roofing/hands on experience to give you your estimate, upon contacting Mahoney Construction Sean will set up a time to meet with you himself, in home, at his earliest convenience. (Please note the consultation is free and will take approximately 60 minutes.) You will be provided with copies of all pertinent paperwork. You will then have the opportunity to explain your unique situation as it pertains to your roof, and ask any questions you might have. At this point, Sean will leave you with some further information, samples and before and after pictures of previous projects to peruse as he heads up to the roof to take measurements and make an assessment. He will measure the roof and inspect it for any soft spots, leaks or other damage, and will take pictures if damage is discovered. The rest of the consultation will consist of suggestions based on the assessment of the roof condition, and an explanation of the procedures we will follow and materials we will use. You will be left with a written proposal of our exact procedures and a cost estimate.
What we do:
We specialize in the complete replacement of existing residential or pitched commercial roofing systems and the application of 30, 40 or 50 year Architectural Asphalt Shingles.
This service includes:
-Tear off and disposal of existing roof materials, including shingles (or cedar shakes), nails/staples, drip edge and valley metal
-Installation of new drip edge
-Installation of ice and snow shield around building perimeter
-Installation of Dupont Underlayment
-Installation of new valley metal if valleys are present

We offer a 2 year leak and blow-off warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty on full replacements.
We acknowledge and understand a full replacement may not be needed every time or in every situation. For your convenience, we are also experienced with:

We do not however, install 3 tab asphalt shingles or cedar shakes.
As with our roofing services, upon contacting Mahoney Construction, Sean will schedule a time to meet with you in home to discuss your painting project. To insure a lasting job, we believe proper preparation for painting is as important as the application of the paint itself. Any existing chipped or chipping paint is scrapped off and the surface is sanded and primed before the new paint is applied. All nearby surfaces not to be painted (including your carpet, furniture, driveway or bushes) will be masked or otherwise covered to prevent drips or over-spray. Pressure washing is always recommended prior to any exterior painting.

Gutters are also an important but often overlooked aspect of your home's exterior. Clear gutters and downspouts aid in protecting your biggest investment by directing rainwater, leaves and other debris away from your homes siding and foundation. Clogged gutters quickly overflow, allowing dirty water to run off your roof and streak directly down the side of your home. The layer of dirt and debris this leaves behind is not only unattractive, but can cause paint or vinyl siding to dull or deteriorate years before it should. Not only do gutters need to be cleaned regularly to function correctly, they also need to be properly graded and held in place tightly against the fascia board. Finally, the downspouts need to direct water away from the house to prevent pooling at the foundation.
Note: All debris removed from gutters and downspouts will be contained and hauled away.
